Plumbing Software Monthly vs Annual Cost: Compare Both
Compare annual billing with twelve monthly payments, then evaluate the commitment and cash timing separately. An annual discount can reduce the subscription cost, but it does not prove the software fits your business or that unused months are refundable.

Compare the same product and the same period
Start with the recurring monthly price and the full annual charge. Confirm that both options provide the features, users, and usage allowance you need. A comparison between different packages mixes billing savings with product differences.
Use these formulas:
- Twelve monthly payments = monthly price × 12.
- Annual saving = twelve monthly payments − annual charge.
- Monthly equivalent = annual charge ÷ 12.
- Discount percentage = annual saving ÷ twelve monthly payments × 100.
A monthly equivalent is a comparison figure. It does not mean the annual invoice is paid monthly.

Work through GoPlumber's published prices
As checked on September 29, 2026, GoPlumber lists $99 monthly or $990 billed annually for the same product with unlimited team members. Twelve monthly payments total $1,188. Annual billing therefore saves $198, with a monthly equivalent of $82.50.
The annual price is about 16.7% below twelve monthly payments. “Two months free” describes that arithmetic; it does not turn the annual charge into ten separately cancellable monthly invoices.
Check the current checkout and terms before purchasing. Do not infer an annual refund policy from a statement that subscriptions can be canceled.
Compare cash timing as well as total price

These are comparison questions, not universal contract rules. The actual agreement controls.
Include costs outside the subscription
Create separate lines for payment processing, accounting subscriptions, optional services, migration work, and staff training. GoPlumber's published pricing excludes payment-processing fees and any QuickBooks subscription.
Do not multiply an assumed processing rate by total invoices unless that rate applies to the payment method and volume in question. Obtain current fees from the relevant provider and keep those assumptions separate from the software subscription comparison.
For your own planning, record setup hours even when no external consultant is paid. That makes the effort visible without inventing a dollar value for your time.
Test fit before paying for a longer period
Use a trial to complete representative work, verify permissions, and inspect an export. GoPlumber currently offers a 14-day trial without a credit card, but the existence of a trial is not proof that every requirement has been tested.
Choose a billing arrangement after the product passes your must-have checklist. A discount is useful when you are buying something you will use; it is not a substitute for that evidence.
